The Vice-Chancellor, University of Ibadan (UI), Professor Kayode O. Adebowale has revealed that 11,912 candidates were expected to sit for the Post UTME test for admission into the various courses of the University of Ibadan for the 2024/2025 academic session have commenced.
The test is scheduled to hold from Thursday, 19 September, till Saturday, 21 September, 2024.
The University usually admit 3500 new students every year into their various degree programmes out of the 5000 slots Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) allocated to the institution.
Candidates and their parents had arrived at the venue as early as 6.00 a.m. and the Admissions Committee had arranged chairs and canopies for their convenience..
Candidates had earlier been advised to visit the UI Admissions Portal to print their photo-cards, which bear their date of examination, time, and venue. The photo cards were to be brought along to the venue of the tests.
Candidates were checked in, one hour to the commencement of their sessions.
Candidates who were earlier scheduled for Friday 20 September, from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm, (Session 3) were re-scheduled to have their tests on Saturday 21 September from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm (Session
