The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has announced the successful evacuation and arrival of 145 Nigerians from Khartoum, Sudan.
The evacuees, who arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja around 12.45 pm today, June 26, 2020, were onboard Air Sudan.
In another development, NIDCOM also announced the arrival of 18 Stranded Nigerians in some European Countries at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos at 2:50 pm local time from France on a Free repatriation exercise coordinated by the Nigeria Mission in France under Ambassador. Dr Modupe Irele.
All the evacuees will proceed on 14 days self-isolation as mandated by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Ministry of Health and Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
It will be recalled that 167 Nigerians evacuated from South Africa by the Federal Government arrived in Abuja yesterday.
