The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has announced the evacuation and arrival of 288 Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to NIDCOM, the evacuees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja today, Monday August 10, 2020, around 11:00 am local time via Air Peace Airline.
This brings the number of evacuees from the UAE to a total of 2,641.
The Commission confirmed that all the evacuees tested negative to Coronavirus and have proceeded on 14 days self-isolation as mandated by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Ministry of Health and Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
