The second batch of Nigerian evacuees from the United State of America has arrived in the country yesterday, June 4, 2020 under the special evacuation process put in place by the Federal Government due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The batch of 322 Nigerians came aboard an Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET 509, which departed the USA at around 12:45 am,for Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
Confirming their arrival in the country, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) stated that all the evacuees tested negative to COVID-19 and will proceed on 14 days self-isolation as mandated by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Ministry of Health and Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
