A 40 year old Nigerian man is fighting for his life in the hospital after he drank a bottle of Sniper in an attempt to commit suicide.
According to Demo Care Foundation, an NGO, the father of two, was rushed to the hospital when he was found writhing in pain. He was said to have left a note for his wife to explain the reason for his action.
In the letter, it was stated that he had to resort to ending his life due to being overwhelmed with debts, including house rent, school fees and so on.
The man said a man absconded with the money meant for a job he was to deliver in Abuja. When he tried his number, it was switched off and when he traced his house, he was no where to be found.
Pleading for forgiveness from his wife, the man wrote, “I am very sorry because I know the load will be very much on you, but I pray to God to assist you”.
