Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved Friday, July 12, 2024, as the day for the coronation of the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakunlehin.
In a statement signed by the Oyo State Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade, the Olubadan-designate would be given a staff and instruments of office shortly after he would have been crowned by the Olubadan-in-Council.
Oyelade urged Ibadan indigenes to be patient and believe an administration that has not let them down for the past five years, adding that insinuations and mischievous innuendos have not derailed the government from the path of justice and fairness.
