Nigerians have taken to social media to celebrate a 70-year-old man, Ben-Lutnaan Duamlong, who recently graduated as the best-graduating student from the University of Jos (UNIJOS), with a 4.32 CGPA.
Duamlong, who graduated from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts was a one time coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
According to information gathered, Duamlong became the oldest graduate from the university at the UNIJOS 33rd and 34th Combined Convocation held on May 13, 2023.
Dr. Jacob Onoja of the institution stated, “I celebrate Ben-Iutnaan Duamlong UJ/2017/EV/0362 of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts graduated as the oldest at the age of 69 years (he is 70 years as of now) and the best-graduating student with a CGPA of 4.32. He was a one-time coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Proud of your achievement Coach Ben and the special mention by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tanko Ishaya.”
Encouraged by this feat, Funke Sanni Manzuma said, “I’m challenged to pursue a degree in that course I’ve been dreaming of all my life. I have no excuse at all after reading this post.”
