The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has announced the evacuation and arrival of 86 Nigerians from Turkey.
The evacuees, who came aboard Air Peace Flight, arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 10:30 pm local time on Sunday, July 5, 2020, from Istanbul.
59 of the returnees disembarked in Abuja while 27 proceeded to Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The Commission confirmed that all evacuees tested negative to Coronavirus and had proceeded on 14 days self-isolation as mandated by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Ministry of Health and Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
