President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), on Tuesday July 28, 2020, celebrated 36 years of marriage with his wife, Mrs Grace Yemisi Adesina, saying that the best decision he ever made in his life time was to marry his wife.
On his Twitter page, Adesina said, ”Today, my darling wife and I celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. Marrying my wife, Grace (Yemisi) is the best decision I made in my life. I would not be who I am today without her. I love you my sweetheart. I will marry you 36 years over. You are the best!”
Well wishers have taken to social media to congratulate the couple for their wedding anniversary.
Chizoba Adeola said, ”Congratulations to you and yours. Thank you for existing. Thank you for showing us that corrupt free leadership is possible in Africa. Thanks for vision on Agriculture. Keep moving. we are cheering you on”.
Also, Kathryn said, ”Happy wedding anniversary sir and congratulations as God vindicated you and cleared you by His blood. We are indeed proud of you. Nigeria can boast of her own food because visionary leaders like you exist. The good Lord will bless and keep you and mummy for us”.
”I’m glad you’ve been vindicated. They’re just mad that you’re doing so well, they couldn’t phantom the thought that a Nigerian can do so well without blips. May God bless you and increase you for being a good ambassador. Mr President, GCFRN, someday, it will happen!”, Samson Akala stated.
Equally, a non-profit advocacy organisation, Africa Needs U (ANU), noted that Adesina represents what Africa and Africans stand for adding, ”Double Congratulations to you both on the wedding anniversary and moving progressively forward at the AfDB Sir!”
