The burial of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, who is expected to be buried today at 10am according to Islamic rites, has been postponed without a clue of when the funeral will take place.
The death of Ajimobi was announced yesterday of Coronavirus related issues and is expected to be buried within 24 hours as a Muslim.
The late governor’s spokesperson, Bolaji Tunji told the newsmen at his Oluyole, Ibadan residence this morning that the funeral has been postponed and that the family would soon announce the burial programme.
Tunji pointed out that the funeral would be observed privately in line with the guidelines of Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
