Hon. Tolu Akande-Sadipe representing Oluyole Federal Constituency has donated deep freezers to Alhaja Iyabo Ogunrinu and Mrs Awowole of Ward 04 and 10 of the constituency.
Akande-Sadipe, the Chairperson, House Committee on Diaspora, who put smile on the faces of the elderly women, noted that the donation was borne out of her passion and love for her constituency, saying that such project has been a continuous project since she became a legislator at the federal level.
According to her, the good gesture is part of her seven point Agenda of WWREEEP (W – Worthy Laws; W – Water; R – Road; E – Education; E – Empowerment; E – Employment; P – Power), pointing out that empowering common people is what she is always eager to do, no matter how big or little.
She noted that earlier, she had embarked on empowerment project of constituents, where different items were given to them, such as deep freezer, tailoring machines, grinding machines among other things.
Stressing that she recently paid scholarship grants to two indigent students in her constituency, she vowed to continue to have meaningful impact on her constituency throughout the time she would be in office and beyond.
