The names of the 13 APC Presidential Aspirants cleared by the Chief John Oyegun-led All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential Committee have been revealed.
Those cleared are:
1. Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu
2. Professor Yemi Osinbajo
3. Rotimi Amaechi
4. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan
5.Yahaya Bello
6. Dr John Kayode Fayemi
7. Emeka Nwajiuba
8. Ogbonnaya Onu
9. Senator Ibikunle Amosun
10. David Umahi
11. Badaru Abubakar
12. Godswill Akpabio
13. Tein Jack-Rich
However, there is a strong indication that the strong contenders among whom a candidate will emerge are: Tinubu, Osinbajo, Lawal, Fayemi and Bello.
\It was gathered that the committee disqualified the Senior Pastor of Latter Rain Assembly, Tunde Bakare and former Governor of Imo State and a serving Senator, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
Other disqualified aspirants are:
1. Ben Ayade
2. Sani Yerima
3. Ken Nnamani.
4. Ikeobasi Mokelu
5. Demeji Bankole
6. Felix Nicholas
7. Uju Ken-Ohanenye
8. Professor Robert Ajayi Boroffice
