All is set at the International Conference Centre, FCT, Abuja for the special convention of All Progressive Congress (APC), slated for today.
13 aspirants will be participating in the convention out of which one candidate will emerge as a standard bearer.
The 13 aspirants are the former governor of Lagos State and national leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Dr Ahmad Lawan; Ekiti State Governor, Dr John Kayode Fayemi, former minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godwill Akpabio, Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Demeji Bankole, President/ Founder of Belemaoil and Belema Aid Foundation, Tein Jack-Rich, former minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Ogbonna Onu, Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, former minister of Information, Ikeobasi Mokelu, former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba and Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state.
Of the 13 aspirants cleared to participate in the primary election, five of them are regarded as the frontrunners.
The five are Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, Senator Ahmad Lawan; Governor Kayode Fayemi; Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Godswill Akpabio.
It is gathered that all the delegates are already in Abuja.
