The immediate past Ekiti Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Biodun Oyebanji, of All Progressive Congress (APC), have won the 2022 Governorship Election, held yesterday in the state.
Oyebanji won in 15 out of the 16 local government areas of the state with 187,057 votes to floor Segun Oni of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who scored 82,211 votes, Bisi Kolawole of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 67,457 votes and 13 others.
Kolawole won his LGA, Efon, where he scored 6,303 to beat APC’s 4,012 and SDP’s 339 votes.
