A renowned Nigerian journalist, author and publisher, Chief Areoye Oyebola has died at the age of 84.
Oyebola, who died on Monday March 9, 2020 was said to be hale and healthy until his death.
According to information gathered, the deceased preached in his church the previous day and he did not show any sign of sickness until he passed on.
Areoye Oyebola, former Managing Director of the Defunct Daily Times, had all his primary and post primary schools in Ibadan, Oyo State.
He attended Olubi Memorial School, St Paul Primary School and Ibadan Grammar School. Also, he attended University College, now University of Ibadan (UI), where he obtained Bachelor Degree and Master in Economics.
He authored 26 books, including Black Man’s Dilemma, Grave Issues Nigeria Must Tackle and Alive Because of Miracles.
Areoye Oyebola is the founder and President of Worship, Warfare and Miracle Center based at Oluyole Estate, Ring Road, Ibadan.
