Heavily armed robbers on February 10, 2022 operated along Idi Ape – Iwo Road, Ibadan,the capital of Oyo State
The incidence happened around 2pm, with the robbers hijacking a bullion van and made away with an undisclosed sum of money.
A man and two policeman were killed, while policeman was injured and several passerby sustained bullet wounds. The man has been identified as Sulaiman Mubarak Olanrewaju.
At the time of filling this report, the robbers have not been apprehended.
The Police, in a press release, later confirmed the incidence, stating that the two policemen died in the hospital.
