A veteran Nollywood actor, Prince Oyewole Olowomojuore popularly called Baba Gebu has revealed that he is very lonely, attributing his loneliness to his joblessness and the loss of his wife, who died in 2021.
Olowomojuore in a chat revealed that he lost his wife to a minor illness of back pain.
He said, “My wife died in 2021. She just fell sick and died within a week. She suffered for something minor, lower back pain and it turned serious. We lost her. Her death has aggravated my plight. I have been lonely, very very lonely. Somebody who is jobless and now lost his wife, he will be very lonely.”

He appealed to movies producers to invite him for work, pointing out that if he started going on set, his loneliness would go adding, ‘I will be happy to be invited for movies.”
He lamented the neglect his generation suffered from their younger colleagues who are rich enough to produce movies. ‘We are suffering from neglect. The younger film producers are not inviting us to participate in film acting. They will not think of a storyline that has to do with the veterans and elders, which will can do.”, he added.
The actor also said that he does not have money to produce film saying that good film today cost as much as N200 Million.
Narrating his poor state, he said he has not been able to drive his car in last one year because it has a gear problem and he does not have money to fix it.
