About fifty passengers were reportedly abducted on Tuesday, March 3, 2021 by armed bandits at Kundu village on Minna Rafi Local Government Council road in Niger State.
According to reports, the victims were abducted just few kilometers from Zungeru town.
The bandits were said to have blocked the road at Kundu, taking away passengers and drivers of three vehicles to the bush.
In a related development some armed bandits have also kidnapped unknown number of villagers at Gidigori village of Rafi Local Government Council burning some cars as well as carting away valuables.
All efforts to contact the Police Public Relations Officer Niger State Command DSP Wasiu Abiodun for comment was unsuccessful.
