Bandits have invaded LEA Primary and Secondary School in Kuriga town of Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State around 8.20am on Thursday, March 7, 2024, and abducted over 200 pupils.
It was gathered that the Head Teacher Sani Abdullahi was among those abducted but managed to escape with a group of students,.
About 287 students were said to have been taken, 187 students from the high school division and 125 from the elementary division.
Fortunately, 25 students have returned safely.
Abdullahi also mentioned the tragic loss of a vigilante member who attempted to rescue the victims and has since been laid to rest.
