President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the people of Kwara State and members of All Progressive Congress over the death of Alhaji Aminu Adisa Logun, the Chief of Staff to the state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, Logun, an industrialist, a public intellectual, and an elder statesman, died Tuesday July 7, 2020 of complications from COVID-19.
He died only a few hours after the test of his result returned positive.
In a statement signed by Shehu Garba, President noted that the sad news was received with shock, describing the deceased as a passionate member of APC, who worked for the party’s progress at state and national levels.
He said, “His death comes at a time his services were greatly needed by the party and government as part of our rebuilding efforts”.
