Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo today were vaccinated against coronavirus.
Declaring this, President Buhari said, “Yesterday, our frontline medical personnel, top on the priority list, were vaccinated. Today, as a demonstration of leadership and faith in the safety and efficacy of the vaccines, the Vice President and I received our first jabs”.
In the same direction, Osinbajo stated, “This afternoon, President Buhari and I received the Covid-19 vaccine. The President has urged state governments, traditional and religious leaders to lead the mobilization effort within their spheres of influence. The vaccine offers hope for a safe country free of coronavirus”.
The president has, however, urged all the eligible Nigerians to go for the vaccination so as to be protected from the virus.
