Ahead of May 29, 2023, handing over to a new president, the outgoing president, Muhammadu Buhari has set -up a 21-man transition committee to be headed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
After the expiration of eight years in office, Buhari will be handing over a highly divided country to a new set of leaders, who will be expected to migrate Nigeria out of various problems the Buhari administration has pushed the nation to.
The new administration will be confronted with a worse insecurity problem, the poor state of education, economy, and agriculture, infrastructure, among others.
The new government will also face the challenge of remodelling Nigeria to be a country of equality, fairness and justice and equally works towards a federating system where the majority of the items in the exclusive list will be scaled down to the concurrent list.
