In compliance with the order of the US district court for the northern district of Illinois, the Chicago State University (CSU) has released the academic records of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Abubakar Atiku, the 2023 Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as requested.
Atiku intends is to use the document to prove at the Supreme Court that the president lacks the prerequisite to contest the last presidential election, hence, seeks the court to nullify Tinubu’s victory at the last presidential election in Nigeria.
Justice Nancy Maldonado in a judgment dismissed the objection raised by Tinubu against Atiku’s request and ordered CSU to submit the academic records to Atiku.
