Rt. Rev’d Isaac Oluyamo, the Bishop of Ijesa North Anglican Diocese, Ijebu Jesa, Osun State, has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prioritise the welfare of the vulnerable Nigerians in 2025.
Oluyamo, in his New Year message, congratulated Nigerians on the privilege of witnessing another year and urged Tinubu to ensure that the poor and vulnerable are not neglected in his policies and programmes
He called on the President to focus on addressing the needs of the less privileged and to implement deliberate measures aimed at lifting them out of poverty and improving their living standards.
The Bishop also encouraged Nigerians to explore opportunities in agriculture, recognising the sector’s potential for economic growth and sustainability.
He said, “President Tinubu should place a high priority on the welfare of poor and vulnerable Nigerians in the year 2025. He must do more in addressing their yearning for better living conditions.”
