Anambra State’s Commissioner for Youth Development, Patrick Aghamba, and his wife have been abducted by unknown gunmen on Friday, August 16, 2024.
According to sources, the assailants also killed Kpajie ABK Offiah, a prominent Onitsha youth leader and member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), who was traveling with the commissioner and his wife.
Reports indicate that the couple was on their way to Abuja for the wedding of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s daughter, scheduled for Saturday, August 17, 2024, when they were intercepted and kidnapped at a location within the Kogi State axis.
Governor Soludo’s Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, confirmed the incident but stated that the exact location of the abduction remains unclear, with conflicting reports pointing to both Kogi and Edo states.
