District Superintendent, Apostolic Faith Church West and East Africa, Reverend Emmanuel A Adeniran has encouraged his members not to lose focus in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
Adeniran, who stated this in a statement addressed to the church members said, “We have a Father in heaven who controls the universe and nothing can happen without His knowledge and permission. Therefore, please do not let your heart be troubled, believe in God and the power of the anointing blood of Jesus shed for us on the Cross of Calvary. His promises are sure and reliable. We should therefore use them as anchor for our souls in times like this”.
The DS noted that happenings in the world including the outbreak of coronavirus are signs of the end time, stressing, “Know with certainty in your heart, that all the happenings around us now are signals that the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is imminent. These events are just fulfilling what Jesus said would happen before His second coming as written in Mathew 24”.
According to him, “Jesus encouraged us to look up when these things are happening because our salvation is at hand. Children of God should wash themselves in the blood of Jesus and do all that is necessary and required to qualify them to enter heaven as they wait for the trumpet. God promise, “…when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you…Exodus 12:13”.
He concluded, “May the blood of Jesus avail for all His children and make their dwelling places Goshen, Amen. God bless you”.
