Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has confirmed that deaths resulting from Coronavirus has reach 20 in the state, describing the death causalities as sad.
Makinde, who revealed this on his Twitter page said, “Sadly, we had one COVID-19 related death. So the total number of deaths in Oyo State is twenty”.
However, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is yet to update its record concerning the death cases in the state as it still records 19 for the state.
Nevertheless, with 85 new cases recorded in the state, NCDC records 1,689 confirmed cases for the Pacesetter State.
According to the Centre, while 745 patients are currently on admission, 925 have been treated and discharged.
