The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) yesterday reported one death by Coronavirus in Oyo State, bringing the total number of deaths to 32.
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State also confirmed the death on his twitter page. He said, “Sadly, we had one COVID-19 related death in the state. So, the total number of deaths in Oyo State is thirty-two”.
According to the Centre, out of 2,943 confirmed cases in the state, 1,530 have been treated and discharged.
As at the time of filing this report, according to NCDC, 1,381 COVID-19 persons tested positive are receiving treatment in the state.
