Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has gone into self-isolation due to his contact with the son of former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, who tested positive to the coronavirus.
According to a Press Release by the Bauchi State Government, Senator Bala Mohammed recently returned from an official trip in Lagos and had met with the former Vice President in the Aero Contractor aircraft where they shook hands and exchanged pleasantries.
The Governor went into isolation to prevent the risk of spreading the virus.
Meanwhile, the blood samples of the governor and his entourage have been taken for clinical test.
