In the just concluded week, which came to an end on Saturday January 16, 2021, 11 people died from coronavirus in Oyo State.
This is according to the update from the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The state, which recorded 30 new cases yesterday, now have 4,649 confirmed cases, out of which 618 are currently on admission.
According to NCDC, 3,966 patients have been treated and discharged in the state.
The spike of coronavirus and the rate at which residents of Oyo State are dying is becoming worrisome.
