The trial of Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, popularly called Baba Ijesa, who was charged with alleged defilement, has been adjourned to September 27, 2021 by the Ikeja Special Offences Court.
The trial, which was scheduled to continue on Wednesday did not hold due to the absence of the presiding judge, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo.
It was gathered that Justice Taiwo is attending a Judges Retreat.
Baba Ijesha who was arraigned on June 24 is charged with six counts bordering on defilement of a minor.
The offence contravened the provisions of sections 135, 259, 262, 263 and 262 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
