Following an ex-parte motion moved in the court by Yomi Aliu (SAN), a lawyer to embattled Yoruba Nation activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly called Sunday Igboho, Justice Ladiean Akintola sitting in Oyo State High Court, Ibadan has granted an ex-parte motion stopping the Department of State Security (DSS) and the Attorney General of the Federation from arresting, intimidating, harassing and blocking bank accounts of the embattled activist.
The Court gave the order on Wednesday August 4, 2021, stressed that Sunday Igboho must not be arrested, detained or killed within 14 days.
The court adjourned the suit until August 18.
It would be recalled that Sunday Igboho was recently arrested in Republic of Benin, while attempting to travel to Germany and ever since, he has been detained, while being currently tried on criminal charges.
