The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has just revealed that the cases of coronavirus in Nigeria has increase by 49, with a total of 542.
According to the Centre, Lagos State has 23, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) 12, Kano 10, Ogun 2, Oyo and Ekiti, 1 each.
“As at 10:40pm, 18th April, there are 542 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 166 Deaths: 19″, the Centre added.
The Centre further added that the virus is in 19 states of the federation with FCT.
The breakdown of the cases by states is Lagos- 306, FCT- 81, Kano- 37, Osun- 20, Oyo- 16, Edo- 15, Ogun- 12, Kwara- 9, Katsina- 9, Bauchi- 6, Kaduna- 6, Akwa Ibom- 6, Delta- 4, Ekiti- 4, Ondo- 3, Enugu- 2, Rivers-2, Niger- 2, Benue- 1 and Anambra- 1.
