The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported that Oyo State has lost another person to Coronavirus, bringing the total deaths recorded in the state as a result of the virus to 28.
The Governor of the state, Engr. Seyi Makinde corroborated NCDC when he said, “Sadly, we had one COVID-19 related death in the state. So, the total number of deaths in Oyo State is twenty-eight”.
NCDC stated that the total number of confirmed cases in the state as at the time of filing this report stands at 2,782.
While the number of cases on admission is 1,356, 1,398 persons have been treated and discharged.
