The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has revealed that Oyo State rank seventh in the hierarchy of state with the highest number of Coronavirus related death in Nigeria.
According to the Centre, 27 persons have lost their lives to the virus in the state.
Ahead of Oyo State rwith the highest number of death recorded are: Lagos, 192, Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), 42, Edo, 79, Rivers, 52, Kano 53 and Delta, 42.
The total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 2,688, number of cases under admission is 1,451, and the number of patients treated of the virus and discharged is 1,210.
