Oyo State has recorded three new fatalities caused by Coronavirus, bringing the total of deaths in the state to 71.
In the Covid-19 update declared by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Oyo State is the 5th with the highest death casualties from coronavirus out of the 36 states in the country .
Ahead of Oyo State are Lagos, 279, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 118, Rivers, 76, Edo, 113 and Kano, 72.
According to NCDC, the state has 4,846 confirmed cases, out of which 689 are on admission and 4,086 have been discharged.
