Oyo State has continued to record mortality resulting from Covid-19, with the number of the virus related deaths in the state reaching 91.
With two new recorded covid-19 deaths, the state is currently fifth in the country with the highest death rate with Lagos State having the highest with 344 deaths, Edo State, 149, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 128 and Kano 94 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed that Oyo State has a total confirmed cases of 5,993, out of which 4,161 patients have been discharged and 1,741 currently on admission.
