The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) yesterday reported one death by Coronavirus in Oyo State, bringing the total number of deaths to 34.
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has also confirmed that the state has lost another person to Covid-19 saying, “Sadly, we had one COVID-19 related death in the state. So, the total number of deaths in Oyo State is thirty-four”.
NCDC confirmed that the number of cases confirmed in the state is 3007, out of which 1,654 persons have been treated and discharged.
It stated that as at the time of filing this report, 1,319 Covid-19 persons who tested positive are receiving treatment in the state.
