A Kano based Lebanese businessman and owner of Tahir Guest Palace hotel in Kano, Tahir Fadlallah, has been reportedly evacuated from Kano to Beirut, Lebanon, his home country on Wednesday, on suspicion of covid-19 related infection, through an air ambulance.
Tahir Guest Palace Hotel, founded in 1994, is one of the biggest hotels in Kano.
In a video that surfaced online, the Lebanese, who is also the chairman of the Lebanese Community in Kano, arrived at Beirut International Airport and was surrounded by health workers wearing Covid-19 protective equipment.
He is said to currently be in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an undisclosed hospital in Beirut and being treated for lungs infection.
