In a bid to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in Oyo State, South West Nigeria, the management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has directed all the operators of commercial business in the institution to close shop.
According to a special release 4300 issued and signed on Sunday March 29, 2020, the institution enjoined all and sundry to keep physical and social distancing as directed by NCDC.
The statement stated, “To control human traffic on campus, the Poly and Ajibode gates will be closed effective Monday, 30 March, 2020 until further notice. Please stop the spread, stay safe, stay at home and stay alive”.
