The Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO), Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus stated in a press conference at Geneva, that in a bid to support COVID-19 response, the organisation has donated over five million Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to 110 countries.
Ghebreyesus added that the Agency is already concluding arrangements about sending 129 million PPE to another 126 countries
Pointing out that the situation is improving in Europe, and globally it is worsening, he declared that about seven million cases of Coronavirus have been reported to WHO and almost 400,000 deaths.
