The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria continues to rise as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 684 new cases on June 26, 2020, bringing the total number of cases to 23,298.
The new cases were reported from Lagos-259, Oyo-76, Katsina-69, Delta-66, Rivers-46, Ogun-23, Edo-22, Osun-22, Ebonyi-21, FCT-20, Kaduna-16, Ondo-10, Imo-9, Abia-9, Gombe-5, Plateau-4, Bauchi-4, Ekiti-2 and Anambra-1.
According to the centre, as of June 26, 2020, out of the 23,298 confirmed cases, 8,253 have been discharged and 554 deaths have been recorded.
