The Superintendent General of The Apostolic Faith Church, Rev Darrel Lee on Sunday, August 28, 2022, called on the world to accept Jesus Christ, the only one that can solve all problems.
Speaking on a topic, “A Personal Invitation from Jesus”, at Faith City, Igbesa, Nigeria, at the closing of the West and Central Africa 2022 Camp Meeting of the Apostolic Faith, Lee, who attended physically for the meeting from the Headquarters of the church in Portland Oregon, United States of America (USA), charged that Jesus has invited everyone across the globe to him and admonished that Jesus Christ’s invitation be honoured.
Speaking to St John 7:1-10, the Apostolic Faith leader noted that when Christ called while on earth, there were mixed responses as some believed and honour the invitation, some outrightly rejected and some were confused and did not know what to do.
According to him, the invitation Jesus Christ sent out is personal to the individual and the response is equally personal and a choice adding, “Jesus Christ is standing and crying the same words: if any is thirsty, let him come and drink. God is not stingy. That invitation is inviting you to come and it depends on you to come.”
Also speaking at the spiritual event, WECA District Superintendent, Rev Isaac Adigun thanked God for the success of this year’s Camp Meeting and appreciated the congregants for making it a success.
His words, “We appreciate all those who contributed to the huge success of 2022 Camp Meeting. We appreciate the support of the various sections of our work, regions, districts and Zone and WECA countries. May God bless you all.”
According to him, numerous blessings were recorded during the two-week Camp Meeting. The blessings highlighted are: salvation: 2,036; sanctification: 1,125; baptism of the Holy Spirit: 530; healing: 2,032; re-anointing: 1,937, other blessings: 1,310 and grand total: 8,970.
Adigun also announced the launch of the revised website of the church, which became operative this morning.
“You will notice that you woke up to find a brand new revised website. That is the one you are using right now. It was launched yesterday. We know it has been a great source of blessing before now. With this new one that we just launched, that we are now operating from today on, which is www.apostolicfaithweca.org., the blessing that the Lord has made to happen with the one we are pulling down, with this new one, may those blessings be double in Jesus mighty name. We encourage you to keep checking. We have many things on this new one. Different areas you can visit and look at the activities of the church. We encourage you to make use of the site”.
Brother Segun Adeliyi rounded off the 2022 Camp Meeting with a farewell sermon titled, “Give Me a Blessing.”
