David Olorunsogo, an Adjunct lecturer at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU), Lagos and doctoral student of the University of Ibadan (UI), on Saturday, August 20, 2022, tied the knot with his heartthrob, Orowo Atoma at Living Faith Church, Osadjere, Ughelli, Delta State.
Earlier, on Friday, August 19, 2022, the newly married couple had their colourful traditional wedding ceremony, which followed a registry wedding held at Ibadan North West Local Government, Onireke, Ibadan.
The church ceremony was presided over by Senior Pastor Caleb Olubiyi, who led the couples through the pronouncements of vows and taking of the communion.
In his sermon titled, “Covenant responsibility to oneness in marriage”, which was guided by Genesis 2:20-25, the Assistant Pastor of the church, Chidi Ejim, noted that oneness in marriage can only be achieved when the man leaves his parents and cleaves to his wife.
Ejim emphasized that the man without a wife is neither competent or complete, therefore, the husband must be responsible to seeing comfort and covering in the wife.
He urged wives to submit to their husbands in all things.
In attendance were the parents of the couple, family, friends and well-wishers.
