Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, has announced that one of his daughters has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Okowa, who made the announcement in a tweet, said the COVID-19 test carried out on his daughter returned positive on Friday morning.
As a result of the development, the Governor said he and his wife will proceed on isolation for 14 days.
He wrote on Twitter, “Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Hence, in-line with the laid out procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days. We will continue to keep you all updated”.
