The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested two males and one female over alleged vote-buying in the ongoing 2024 Edo governorship election.
The arrests took place in the Egor Local Government Area of Edo State.
According to a video shared on X by Channels TV on Saturday, EFCC officials left the location with three suspects, two males and one female, taken into custody around 10:00 a.m.
However, in the video, some residents could be seen insisting that those arrested were not involved in vote-buying and were being unfairly targeted.
