The protesters are angry with the Senate President, who said on the floor of the House that while Nigerians are protesting, the legislators will continue enjoying themselves with sumptuous meals.

In Ibadan, the Muslim protesters were seeing at Challenge-Ring Road observing Jumat Prayers on the main road leading to Molete to Gate.

In Lagos, a lady decried the hardship Lagosians are passing through.
She said, “There is nowhere to stay. House rent is killing. We can’t afford house rent in Lagos. 10 people are living together inside one room. People are suffering. People are hungry. And Akpabio, the unfortunate Senate President is telling us that he will be in the house eating while we are protesting. If we don’t ask him, we will ask his children. Our children will ask his children what he has done to us. You are approving budgets in billions, you are buying jet for the president and people can’t afford transport fare, that is wickedness. And he saying we should not protest, we will protest. Today is day 2, there will be day 3, 4, 5,band if care is not taking it will be days forever until we get our results.”
“I don’t fear be shot at. Are we living life? We Nigerians are dead already. We are not alive. Are we better than those that died at Lekki Toll gate, we are not better than them. I am not scared. We are not even alive. I have Kerosene inside my bag. If they shoot me, I have already told my mother that I am going to protest and told her bye-bye should I do not return”, she added.
However, a Pro-Bola Ahmed Tinubu group led by a social media influencer specialising in cyber match making, Lege Miami, protested against #EndBadGovernance protest.
Lege, leading the group in Shomolu said, “Ogo Shomolu, no protest. Everyone, this is Shomolu Area. This is where we were brought up. As we dey like this, we no feel dey against government because we we want to be patient for government to do what they are doing. We believe on the our government, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I know say, he go deliver. This is Shomolu, everywhere is peaceful.”
At the ongoing protest in Kastina, a policeman ran over his colleague with a water police truck and the colleague died immediately. The turnout of the protesters in Zaria, Kaduna is more than that of yesterday. The protest has continued to be massive in Lagos. The protest is being carried out in different parts of Lagos State. The protest also witnessed a larger turnout in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
