Sequel to a formal request in a letter dated Thursday February 3, 2022, a Nigerian prominent activist and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Chief Femi Falana has accepted to represent the family of Moses Adegoke in a suit seeking for justice over the murder of their bread winner, Timothy Adegoke.
Falana & Falana Chambers, in a statement, accepted the family’s invitation to take over the suit, stressing, “We have accepted the instructions of the bereaved Adegoke Family. We shall handle the case pro bono publico and ensure that justice is done.”
According to a letter written to the Chamber, titled, “Appointment as Our Family Lawyer”, which was signed by the deceased’s Father, Mother and elder brother, Moses, Bolatito Victoria and Olugbade, the family is optimistic that the erudite lawyer will get justice for Timothy, an MBA student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, who was murdered at Hilton Hotel and Resorts on Saturday November 6, 2021.
The letter reads, “We the family of Moses Adegoke have decided to appoint you as our family lawyer, to demand for justice for our late son Adegoke, Timothy Oluwadamilare who was murdered at Hilton Honour Hotel and Resorts, Ile Ife.
“We have full confidence in your expertise and professionalism and hope to get justice on the case.
“Thank you for your great concern and sympathy”.
The case will be coming up in an Abuja Court on next Tuesday February 8, 2022.
