Fire on Friday night gutted the Plank (Pako) market in the Oke-Afa near the Jakande Gate, Isolo, Lagos.
Property worth millions of naira have been destroyed and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
Eyewitnesses said the fire started at about 9:00 p.m.
Men of the Lagos State Fire Service had been deployed to the scene to quell the inferno.
