According to intelligence sources, Parradang was abducted in the early hours of Tuesday in Area 1, Abuja, after being trailed from a bank where he had withdrawn money. The assailants reportedly took the cash before killing him.
The tragic incident adds to the growing wave of kidnappings and targeted attacks in Abuja, heightening fears over public safety.
Parradang served in the NIS for over 30 years, holding key positions across the country, including postings in Kano, Lagos, Kwara, Enugu, and the Federal Capital Territory. He also attended several professional courses both in Nigeria and abroad. In recognition of his distinguished service, he was awarded the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) and was a graduate of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
